Training Methodology

Our trainers have passion, experience, energy, and a fantastic natural style to make each training session a memorable and provide practical experience for individuals or the teams. Our trainers tap into a range of the latest methods to get great results in the training room with new concepts. We believe in Simplicity beats Complexity. Our trainers conduct the training sessions in a manner that simplifies the training delivery and makes the sessions interesting to learn for the candidates.

Information Security training courses offered by CyberGnan combine theory with a practical, interactive delivery style enabling delegates/candidates to take an active part in their ‘learning’ experience. Role plays, business games and facilitated group exercises are used to make the courses fun, challenging, and enjoyable. At CyberGnan, we try to use real examples from the delegate’s / candidate’s working environments to ensure they can relate to the information provided. Course content is regularly updated by experience gained from course feedback received from our clients, enabling us to keep the training courses fresh, vibrant, and representative of best practices throughout the industry.

Whichever training methodology we adopt, it consists of 6 critical stages of training lifecycle as highlighted below:

Assess: In partnership with industry, we assess their particular areas of concern within the Cybersecurity domain. We then understand where weak links may be to set baseline metrics for training success.

Design: We design training programs that keep your team alert, engaged, and wanting more – and, most of all, achieve the desired result. At this stage, we also design a course curriculum based on the discussion with industry leaders.

Deliver: Chalk and Talk training is where the trainer will take center stage and lectures everyone. We follow different types of delivery methods depending on the context to ensure better understandability during the sessions. Below are the various training methods apart from regular classroom training:

  • Simulations
  • Case Studies
  • Games and Interactive Exercises
  • Stories and Metaphors
  • Movement
  • Tailored Role Plays
  • Videos
  • Short Presentations
  • Interactive Exercises
  • Group Discussions

Feedback: We also collect feedback from individuals on the completed training program concerning trainer performance. The input helps our trainers stay on top of performance issues.

Sustain: We can also offer you a sustained learning package to ensure that training momentum is not lost the moment training is over. This includes extra video tips plus articles and other reference documents to reinforce key learning points from the training.

Measure: In the weeks and months following the training, we track your success and measure it against the original benchmarking for the training and measure training effectiveness.
